The deal between Moscow and Washington on the supply of Russian diesel could improve the situation in energy markets around the world. This was stated by US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, writes sb.by.

According to TASS, citing the TV channel India Today, Rubio said:
We remain very concerned and are doing everything possible to bring about an end to the war between Russia and Ukraine. We also recognize its impact on the global economy, in addition to what we see in the Strait of Hormuz and increasingly in the Red Sea.
He also continued:
I believe that the President [of the United States Donald Trump] made a wise decision for a short time to provide access to additional energy resources to world markets. It won't just benefit us. Of course, it benefits the US, but diesel prices remain high around the world.”.
