The administration of US President Donald Trump was obliged to provide access to the White House to journalists representing CNN and MSNOW, as well as the publication Politico. This decision was made by federal district judge Timothy Kelly, the correspondent of the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.

The judge also banned officials from denying such access for two weeks on September 24. This is reported by Reuters. The minister noted that the previously imposed restriction, which extended to three media outlets, is probably unconstitutional. T. Kelly also found no evidence to support the defendants' claim that revoking plaintiffs' passes would actually protect national security. Nor was there any evidence that it would be at risk if access was restored during the trial.
Earlier in September, the American leader said that the outcast media spread fiction, and banned them from working in the White House. Lawyers of the Ministry of Justice then explained this decision to national security, they say, it was jeopardized by the way the events were covered. They called access to the White House a privilege, not a right. The "banned" media went to court. Meanwhile, their colleagues from the television presidential pool decided to pause the coverage of events involving exclusively D. Trump. The White House, in response to the boycott, launched the Trump TV channel on YouTube - a round-the-clock broadcast of the president's speeches, highlights in the activities of his administration.
