US President Donald Trump said that Iran made him promise not to kill representatives of the leadership of the Islamic Republic. He said this, speaking to supporters in Arizona, reports sb.by.

- Their leaders are dead. That is one of the problems. Maybe I went too far. I don't even know who to deal with now. When their tier one leaders were killed, they chose tier two leaders. When tier two leaders were killed, they chose tier three leaders. Half of them are already dead. They made me promise I wouldn't kill anyone else, and I did. I promised them, but nobody wants to be president of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Who would want to be president of Iran? Please raise your hand.
He reiterated that Tehran would allegedly strike the western United States with nuclear weapons if Iran had such weapons.
- We had to make sure that Iran did not have nuclear weapons, because, as you know, for many years they have been considered the main state sponsor of terrorism. And if they had nuclear weapons, they would use them within 24 hours. They would destroy the Middle East. Then they would start striking our west coast. They would strike Europe because they are crazy, Trump said. Trump announced the imminent start of work on the search for minerals in Greenland
