According to TASS, initially Trump was not inclined to believe in such stories: “I didn’t really believe in such things.” I have friends who only talk about it. But I do know that we see some pretty strange things.”.

According to the president, one of the pilots described a circular object that was allegedly moving four times faster than the F-22 fighter. To Trump's suggestion that it might have been a comet or other natural phenomenon, the pilot firmly replied no.

Trump stressed that he perceives the interlocutors as competent and reliable professionals, not adherents of conspiracy theories. At the same time, the president did not give a clear answer to direct questions about the possible existence of aliens, visits of extraterrestrial civilizations to Earth and the study of their technologies by American specialists.
