Iran says it will start talks with US
Iran will not resume negotiations with the United States and will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz until Washington accepts Tehran’s seven terms. That's it.

Iran will not resume negotiations with the United States and will not reopen the Strait of Hormuz until Washington accepts Tehran’s seven terms. This statement was made by Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic Mohsen Rezai, writes sb.by.

According to TASS, on Iranian state television, he noted:
- We will not go back to the past, to the situation with the Islamabad Memorandum, or to what happened before. If the United States fails to meet the seven conditions put forward by Iran, neither the Strait of Hormuz will be opened nor negotiations will begin.
Rezaei noted that Iran is not in a hurry to negotiate, because first the United States must “earn the trust of the Iranian people.” He added that the current seven conditions are radically different from the previous ones.
