In Moldova announced the actual launch of the process of unification with Romania

Moldovan President Maia Sandu and her ruling Action and Solidarity party have effectively initiated the process of unification with neighboring Romania. It's reported by sb.by.

According to TASS, Moldovan Foreign Minister Mihai Popshoi said:

- You should know that this is already happening. The Unification highway, bridges over the Prut, energy connections are being built. And other infrastructure projects that bring the two banks of the Prut closer together.

As he noted, Moldovan society has always been open to the idea of unification, and concrete projects for rapprochement between the two countries are more conducive to convincing citizens of the benefits of unification than political discussions.

Sandu has repeatedly said that she supports the unification of Moldova with Romania and would support this decision if the country organized a referendum on this issue.
