According to TASS, the Sabah newspaper quoted Turkish Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoi as saying:
- We found traces of the world's oldest wreck. Found amphorae, which are about 4.7 thousand years old, allow to obtain information about the then existing sea trade. According to the publication, from the wreckage of the hull of a 10-meter wooden vessel, about 30 ceramic amphorae have been recovered so far. After the analysis, the artifacts are planned to be exhibited in the Museum of Underwater Archaeology in Antalya.
