In the Astrakhan region stopped the production of 3.4 tons of fish without veterinary control
Inspectors of the Rosselkhoznadzor interregional department with the help of the state digital system stopped an attempt to put into circulation a large batch of raw fish products that did not pass mandatory veterinary control.

According to the agency, gross violations of the rules of electronic certification were recorded at the commercial site of a legal entity in the village of Ivanchug, Astrakhan region. An authorized employee of the enterprise issued accompanying documents for 3.4 tons of fish. However, an analysis of the databases showed that the entire batch was not subject to statutory safety assurance procedures, and there was no veterinary and sanitary examination of the raw materials.
According to the technical regulations, all unprocessed food products of animal origin are required to undergo strict checks before placing on the market.
On the fact of the identified incident, the supervisory authority canceled illegal electronic forms and blocked the violator’s access to the digital system “Mercury”. The management of the company announced an official warning about the inadmissibility of such actions with the requirement to strictly observe veterinary rules.
