"I have to save these areas." Results of Lukashenko’s working trip to Vitebsk region
Agro-industrial complex, tourism and timber processing: what landmarks Lukashenko outlined for Vitebsk region

Agriculture’s survival phase is long gone. Food security is ensured. Exports this year may well reach $11 billion. Labor in the countryside has become noticeably more technological and efficient, which in general affected earnings. It is time for quality development. Growth intensification. This is clearly seen in the President’s working trips to the regions, on the issues raised by the Head of State. This week, for example, the task was set to determine the strategy and plans for the development of the northern territories of the Vitebsk region. Agriculture, tourism and timber processing are the three main areas where efforts should be focused. So that the most beautiful region of Belarus is not deserted, so that people live here, work, raise children. And the formula for achieving success is known: the master’s approach, plus modern technologies, plus the strictest discipline.
Part of the land will take under his responsibility businessman Nikolai Sparrow.
Every businessman should be useful to the state. Sparrow spoke about plans for the development of agribusiness and tourism in the north of Belarus
“There is a fundamental need to do something here. Take this, I will support you on any projects, but you need to invest here. You'll do it. He's not. Verkhnedvinsk, Rossons, Miorsky and Braslavsky districts... I'm told you have perfect order here. And people respond well. Good! Offer me a plan by spring. I have to save these neighborhoods. There are 4-5 districts. People are here. But people must plow day and night. This region will die if we do not do this, the Head of State said, addressing Nikolai Voroby.
“Maybach” of beef livestock and the work of the agro-industrial complex. Results of Lukashenko’s working trip to Verkhnedvinsky district
And it seems that the local leadership reports that the loss of livestock is becoming smaller, and dairy complexes built even more than they set themselves a goal, and modernized enterprises. But globally, it’s more like a tactic – not a strategy. And it will hardly help to get out of the zone of presidential criticism of Vitebsk region. It's like they don't put their hands down here.

Obviously, maximum productivity and outstanding results are achieved not by correcting minor shortcomings, but through the systematic development of key competencies. You need to see and use your strengths. In fact, even with an elementary disorder.
“So far, disgusting work. The land is not plowed, the corn that's in the swamp now, I don't know how you're going to clean it up. Therefore, you are unlikely to get the silo already. Flying and seeing what can be done. You missed. You slept through the summer and early autumn where you had to work. Not 8 hours a day, but 40 hours a day. In Vitebsk, this is the only way to get results. It is impossible to work here as in Minsk, the Belarusian leader stressed.
And this seems to be the main reason why the Head of State decided to transfer part of the district’s land to businessman Sparrow – by the way, the President said that this was an extreme option, that is, Alexander Lukashenko assessed all the rest as less effective. It’s not about private capital, but the expectation that the privateer will be able to organize people to implement tactics and strategies, and they can already be anything.
The next day, a consensus was found on the strategy in the Vitebsk region. The region will focus on three areas: agriculture – conservation of arable land and the development of beef cattle breeding, forest processing – the construction of sawmills and combines and the production of furniture made of wood, which is especially in demand in the promising markets of Africa and Asia, and tourism – including premium, when non-poor guests are willing to pay $ 30,000 per person for corral hunting. But implementing plans is the task of the executive branch. The North must remember that winter is near.
National Security, Agriculture and the Ukrainian Crisis. What Lukashenko spoke about on the 2nd day of his working trip to Vitebsk region
The global presidential goal is to give new impetus to the outback. And without agriculture, which both provides work and feeds, it is unlikely to succeed. And, if the agro-industrial complex has hit its ceiling, it remains only to produce more in the same fields at the expense of intelligence, technology and optimization, that is, use high-yielding varieties, mineral fertilizers and modern machinery. Then those centners per hectare will grow. See and use their strengths and build an effective structure of the organization of the agricultural enterprise. It's always important, but it seems especially today. This is not just about the north of the country.
