300 meters of mud in Orenburg, which officials do not notice
Residents of the small street of Konduktorskaya in Orenburg have already despaired of going around the thresholds of departments and writing appeals

Now about who lives there and how it affects their lives. The street is only about 300 meters long and has no more than 15 houses, mostly elderly and disabled. They often have to call an ambulance, but doctors don't want to go into that mud, and they can be understood. Taxi drivers do not agree to drive to the house – they stop on Kurach street. Children walk on potholes and mud, and in late autumn and winter - also in the dark, because there were never lights on the street. On the whole street - one dim light bulb, which was hung over the garage by the owner.
What the residents are doing. They write appeals to the city administration, UZHKH, the prosecutor's office, call the municipal reception, the administration of the Southern District, go to the reception of deputies, write collective appeals. The result is zero. In the memory of old-timers, road vehicles came to the Conductor's only once - about 15-20 years ago, the road was sprinkled with asphalt cut, which "melted" with the snow the following spring. Now people hire a tractor themselves to align the pits and bumps. Grader can not hire – it is 30 thousand rubles, more than two thousand from each house.
That officials answer. The Orenburg Department of Capital Construction explains to Orenday correspondents: “Currently, the department does not have the necessary volume of asphalt section formed when milling roads. It is not possible to carry out asphalt cutting work this year. The list of objects for filling roads is formed on the basis of the current state of the road surface, the regulations of the State Traffic Inspectorate, the largest number of citizens' appeals, taking into account the prioritization of the most critical, socially significant sections of the road network. The issue of dumping the highway at the specified address will be considered in 2027 after a sufficient amount of inert material is collected.”.
It is worth talking about the reaction of the Deputy. After a collective appeal to the Deputy of the city Council Dmitry Lysikov residents went to the reception, and his assistant promised to come to the street and personally check. He said he didn’t find the street. Residents explained that here is the Center of the Cynological Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the region, the street rests on Kurach, where the main official university of the RANEPA is located, next to Lokomotiv.
What's happening right now. The adjacent Kurach street is being repaired - there are road equipment, a grader, and an asphalt section already removed. But the residents of the Konduktorskaya, as they asked the administration and the deputy of the Orenburg City Council, got none of this. At the same time, the conductor’s school is the closest way for students of school No. 46, which is around the corner. In addition to their pupils, they also temporarily identified children from school No. 39, where repairs are underway.
Three problems converge here. The first is bureaucratic: residents have passed all instances, including the prosecutor’s office, but there is no result. The rejections cite a lack of asphalt cut and priorities, although the grader is around the corner and the job would have taken 15 minutes.
The second is social: on the street there are elderly people and disabled people who need an ambulance, and children who go to school in the mud and in the dark. This is not an abstract inconvenience, but a direct threat to safety and health.
The third is the attitude of power: an assistant city councillor could not find the street, although it is located in the city center, next to large institutions. This is no longer bureaucracy, but demonstrative indifference, residents noted in an interview with Orenday correspondents. And the hard part here is that people don't ask for major repairs -- they just ask to level the road with a grader to endure autumn and winter.
Why do you think that in such cases, even collective appeals and visits to deputies do not lead to results? Is the problem with the priorities of city services, or is there no one to protect the small streets?
