More than 10.5 thousand applications received in Volgograd Rospotrebnadzor in 2026

For 9 months of this year, the Office of Rospotrebnadzor in the Volgograd region received 10,653 applications. More than half of them – 5,688 (53%) – accounted for violations of sanitary legislation.

At the same time, half of the appeals are related to living conditions in residential premises: sewer wear, mold on the walls, voltage drops, roof leaks, cleaning of entrances, blockages of the garbage pipeline, rodents and insects, as well as the actions of neighbors - keeping animals, cluttering apartments, noise.

The sanitary state of the territory, the collection and removal of solid household waste, the maintenance of container sites, unauthorized landfills and violation of the distance from the MSW site to residential development accounted for 20% of applications – 1,136. Meanwhile, 4,407-41% of complaints complained about violations of consumer rights. Of these, 2,361, which is 54%, are in the retail sector: rules for the sale of tobacco products, refusal to refund money for low-quality goods, violations during remote sales.

Meanwhile, in the service sector, 46% (2,046) of applications: the financial market - 22% (459), communication services - 17% (339), consumer services - 13% (260).

For the majority of appeals, experts gave explanations, 16% were sent to other bodies. To prevent the threat of harm to business entities issued 30% (3,090) warnings about the inadmissibility of violation of mandatory requirements.

In addition, 26 lawsuits were filed with the court on the facts of the revealed violations. The appeals were the basis for 36 supervisory measures and 41 administrative investigations.
