More than a third of working Chelyabinsk combine several jobs

Among the working residents of Chelyabinsk, 38% have more than one job. At the same time, two-thirds of respondents believe that experience in different professions can be an advantage in employment. This is stated in the study “Avito Work” and “Avito Advertising”.

For 48% of working Chelyabinsk main work remains the only source of labor income. Another 22% combine it with one part-time job, and 10% with several.

There are those who do not single out one main job. Among the respondents, 6% are engaged in several equivalent activities at the same time.

Analysts of Avito Work and Avito Advertising found that 66% of the city’s residents see advantages for the applicant in such an experience.

28% believe that employers value professionals for their ability to perform different tasks. Another 38% believe that experience in several areas helps to stand out from the competition.

However, 27% of respondents do not see a direct link between the number of professions and the attractiveness of the candidate. In their opinion, the main thing is the quality of work.

Chelyabinsk residents themselves, combining several occupations, most often call the reason for additional earnings. This option was chosen by 52%.

Another 35% use part-time jobs as an opportunity to try themselves in a new field, without leaving the main place. For 22%, it's a way to learn new skills.

Young people are more actively trying different forms of employment. Among Russians aged 18-24, several part-time jobs combine 17%, while in the group of 45-54 years - 9%.

The researchers also found out how advertising affects the search for additional work. That to some extent pay attention to advertising offers, reported 79% of respondents.

Among those whose choice depends on advertising, 43% notice suitable vacancies on e-commerce sites, 36% in search engines, 34% in professional communities.
