Karelian cuisine presented at the festival in Turkmenistan

Olga Belonogova, the author and head of the ethno-cultural project “VKarelia is”, presented Pomor cuisine of Karelia at the festival of national dishes of the CIS countries in Turkmenistan.

This was reported in the government of Karelia. As part of the festival program, the state standard “Russian Traditional Cuisine” was also shown, in the creation of which Karelian experts took part. In addition, the republican Ministry of Industry and Trade is currently working on the formation of a separate concept (methodology) for regional Karelian cuisine.

The promotion and popularization of local gastronomic traditions is actively engaged in Olga Belonogova, who is the creator and leader of the project "VKarelia is".
