Fresh air in the room reduces the risk of catching an infection in the working team. Doctor Olga Shuppo advises in the season of increasing incidence to ventilate more often, writes RT.
According to Shuppo, an untreated respiratory infection puts additional strain on the body. She recommends airing the office at least five to six times a day, but without drafts.
The doctor advises washing hands for at least twenty seconds - after the toilet, before eating and after touching common objects. If there is no water nearby, alcohol antiseptic will help.
Shuppo warns: do not touch the face with unwashed hands, because viruses enter the body through the mucous membranes. If necessary, use a napkin or treat your hands first. Her nose and throat can be washed with saline.
Coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a disposable napkin or bend your elbow. The used napkin should be discarded immediately. The table, keyboard, mouse, phone and office the doctor recommends to wipe with antiseptic wipes.
Shuppo adds that the body’s resistance increases a balanced diet, proper sleep, physical activity and the ability to cope with stress.
