Support at launch. How young people adapt to their first job

This year, 823 young specialists took their first jobs at Bellegprom. Yesterday’s students and students master the production line, learn to apply knowledge in practice, listen to the advice of qualified mentors and gradually gain experience. All conditions have been created for their professional development in organizations, for example, financial preferences, assistance from experienced colleagues. A vivid example of this is JSC Galantey.

Maria Velikoda, collector of parts and products. In 2026, the organization accepted 102 young specialists, Deputy Director for Ideological and Personnel Work Olga Kisel cited statistics. For the first time, target workers were employed, among them 10 people who have recently arrived.

Most of all, the company employs children with secondary special and vocational education. For example, young specialists who graduated from the Minsk State College of Fashion Industry, Minsk State College of Technology and Design of Light Industry, Grodno State College of Consumer Services, Molodechno State College, Pinsk State College of Engineering and Technologies and many others work here. Those who received higher education, in particular, graduates of Vitebsk State Technological University, also fell on the leather goods enterprise.

Here are welcome professionals of a wide profile. Basically, such specialists as a fashion designer, technologist, software engineer, marketer come to the organization.

Olga Kisel. The greatest shortage is made up of sewers and seamstresses, said Olga Kisel. Despite the fact that JSC Galantey is the basic organization for Minsk colleges, we face personnel difficulties. Therefore, it is necessary to attract people from the regions.

The team is dominated by girls, but recently there are more guys among the employees who are employed by seamstresses, sewers of products.

Olga Kisel stressed that the open joint-stock company welcomes the desire of those wishing to connect their lives with the enterprise, to practice here. This allows young people not only to get an idea of production processes, but also to understand whether you are close to working in this organization.

- We provide an opportunity for the guys to visit the factory, get acquainted with the production, as well as communicate with the management, the deputy director for ideological and personnel work shared details. If we understand that a person can cope with the tasks, then we send an application to the college and count on him in the future. By the way, there are a lot of young professionals who have been practicing with us before. The first workplace is not just a job, but a responsible step into a new life. And Galantey is ready to support young people. Each newcomer is assigned a qualified specialist. This helps children adapt to the workflow.

Beginners are waiting for a rich life inside the enterprise, for example, various competitions, cultural events.

- Every year our organization conducts a large-scale tour "Galantey". Everyone can go to nature, said Olga Leonovna. In addition, young specialists actively participate in creative competitions of the Moscow district and prepare rooms for them.

All conditions are created for self-realization. The company has a sports hall where you can do fitness, dance, strength training.

Support young professionals and financially. Guys get lift payments. In addition, medical insurance is provided. I will probably continue to work in the company. Cash assistance was also received by designer Ksenia Makuhin, who has been working at a leather goods factory for two months. According to the young specialist, she was also accrued a certain amount in connection with moving to work in the capital.

Before coming to Galantey, the girl studied for five years as a fashion designer at Vitebsk State Technological University. The choice of the organization was influenced by a career guidance meeting, which once took place at the university.

- We were told what conditions the company provides, the girl recalled. Soon I arrived at the Human Resources Department for the necessary information. I was given a tour of the production, introduced to the head of the central laboratory Tamara Selitskaya. I liked it, and later I went to interview my portfolio.

Initially, Ksenia claimed the post of artist, but there were no vacancies, so the girl got a job as a designer. For her, this field of activity was in something unknown.

- Of course, the basic knowledge that she received during her studies at the university was useful, but some concepts on GOST had to be learned, Ksenia admitted. After all, before working here, I had never encountered leather goods.

Difficulties, like any young specialist in the first days of distribution, on the way girls met, but they managed to cope with thanks to the responsiveness of colleagues. Here, the interlocutor stressed, there are friendly people who are ready to lend a helping hand at any time.

Xenia's working days are saturated to the limit. She needs to design and model products, consult with engineers on materials and fittings, be in touch with technologists.

Ksenia Makuhin does not exclude that he will continue to work in OJSC Galantey in the future.

- I'm not the kind of person to look too much into the future. As they say, if you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans. But it is likely that I will continue to work here. Maybe I will try myself as an artist later.

Ksenia’s colleague Maria Velikoda graduated from the Minsk State College of Technology and Design of Light Industry. She got acquainted with the company during practice, so the adaptation was easy. The girl was distributed in the specialty of the collector of parts and products. She said this about her day at work:

- If they give out a new product, then I go to the cutting shop, process the parts. Later I collect the product and give it to the sewing. When the parts are returned, I continue to work with them and send the seamstress back.

Daria Kozak, who worked at Galantey as a target person from Grodno State College of Consumer Services, is responsible for tailoring top and lining parts in bags.

Anastasia Pashkova, a graduate of the Minsk State College of Technology and Design of Light Industry, spends her weekdays at a new modern sewing machine with software control. She puts the details into a special device, feeds it under the needle, and the device on a given circuit independently performs a line. According to the young specialist, it is not easy to master the profession at the first stage because of the variety of models, but speed skills and skills come with experience.
