The court punished the poacher for the spring hunt for a hare in the Kirov region

The man illegally obtained a white hare in a prohibited way and during the period closed for fishing. The damage caused to the animal world of the region was estimated at 3,000 rubles.

During the court hearing, the defendant fully admitted guilt and voluntarily compensated the damage caused to nature in full.

The court considered the offender's sincere remorse and the existence of two dependent minor children as mitigating circumstances.

Following the consideration of the case materials, the man was sentenced to deprivation of the right to hunt for a period of 1 year.

Such cases of illegal hunting of wild animals are regularly suppressed by inspectors during raids. Illegal activities of poachers cause significant damage to the population of fur animals and disrupt the ecological balance of the hunting grounds of the region.

The regional Ministry of Ecology reminded fishing enthusiasts about the need to strictly comply with environmental legislation and established rules.

The Ministry stressed that being with weapons in the wrong places or beyond the permitted time limits entails administrative responsibility with mandatory compensation for damage, and urged citizens to take care of natural resources.
