Transport quest: why residents of Smolevich can not get to work and school
Residents of Smolevichi and neighboring villages complain about the lack of buses. Children walk to school and adults skip flights. How do they solve the problem?

Movement is life. It often depends on someone else’s schedule. And the distance to work, school, pharmacy, bank is measured not in kilometers, but in minutes of waiting for transport. In large cities, this is not a problem, the bus is late - there are subways, minibuses, in extreme cases, taxis. A little more difficult with this in the district centers, and the inhabitants of the hinterland – and at all – trouble. Many suburban routes are compressed to two flights a day, and somewhere in the week. Carriers say more is impractical and expensive. There are too few passengers in small villages. But they also want to ride comfortably.
With the first rays of sun rise those who work. And if the road is long, you have to wake up before dawn. In Smolevichi, forty kilometers from Minsk, everything is so close and so far at the same time.
The first bus is at 7:50, the next in an hour. On weekends it is more difficult: only two flights a day. Routes (the ones that connect to Minsk) pass not far, but there is a nuance. Their maximum is a bus station. There are only three buses in the districts, only one with a stop in Krinitsa. The carriage is served.
Download, payment - in cash or card. The kids, of course, are free. They filled almost the entire salon. But not for long - school in a couple of stops.
Daria Neschadim: The students came out – the salon was immediately empty. Each of them had 1-2 adults coming to work in the morning. But the cabin was not even half full.”.
Quickly, without traffic jams - here they are, the charms of a small town. The Krinitsa district twenty years ago was a village, now it is a full-fledged part of Smolevichi. Although the transport issue makes this completeness doubtful.
Daria Neschadim: “Not had time to leave our bus, as immediately arrived another city. Didn't pass... I don't know, five minutes. Maybe two. For some reason he did not think to stop... "Smolevichi - Dehan." 8:13, scheduled. You didn't take me! It didn't stop.
Probably thinking it wasn't very interesting. Although at the stop, in addition to our film crew, there is another man. Some people don’t seem to be using public transport anymore – they prefer it.
The way to work is like a quest - emotions are off the scale. They're posting them on social media. Yeah, it's boiling. Not everything can be solved instantly: transport workers note a shortage of drivers. Nevertheless, there is a solution.
Sergey Yatsynovych, Director of Minoblpassazhirtrans: Krinitsa. We have already worked on the morning flight, and within a few weeks we are launching this flight. All appeals are received, they are all examined in detail.”.
On weekends, they plan to add another bus to Smolevichi. A morning flight in Krinitsa on weekdays will appear in a couple of weeks, but in test mode. It is necessary to assess whether transport is really in demand at this time. That's where the bus line is, so it's in the village of Orekhovskoye. But no one will give a ride to the crowd this morning, no matter how loud they scream.
Cardio workouts are definitely invigorating. Especially when the conditions are extreme. There are children in the village. The first bus is at 6, the next at 10. What about school? The Susoyev family admits: tired. Artem is 12 years old, this physical education in the morning is already the sixth year.
Ekaterina Nikitina and her husband go out specifically at the appointed time, go to a stop, give a ride - not a ride, go on foot: "Often sick, a lot of passes. What can I do? This year I wanted to transfer him to the Old Village, where they take him even from the first grade. But no delivery.
Interesting. Outside the city, it is mandatory to take schoolchildren to the place of study. We asked for clarification on this case in the district executive committee. Orekhovskoye really belongs to the Staroselsky school.
Natalia Finskaya, Deputy Head of the Education Department of the Minsk District Executive Committee: This school has a route. But this village Orekhovskaya is not included in the route, as the parents did not apply in a timely manner. But can the bus go there? - Maybe. To change the route or give an additional bus to the Staroselsky school, to find a driver - it will take some time, not immediately tomorrow will be. And we can arrange a delivery for even one child.”.
Usually the route is formed in August, but you can apply during the year. Here is only to go to the school by registration of 15 kilometers, several times closer to Minsk (where Artem goes). Having added a flight, the question would be solved: transport workers of the Minsk region promise to pay attention to the situation. While somewhere near Grodno - another morning not with coffee.
Half-seven. The locals froze closer to each other: so warm. The wind, the rain, when the bus is on schedule. Being late can be expensive.
Officially, the village, in fact - a cottage village for urban. Almost every house has a car, but if it is not there or broke, the alarm clock is set early. Students are closer to nine, but sleeping until the next time is a luxury.
We're still on the bus. The tandem of public and private carriers forms a system of regular, safe and comfortable routes. But the business for entrepreneurs should be profitable, otherwise they will not go far.
Ekaterina Stankevich, Chairman of the Association of Professional Passenger Carriers: To take one or two people there, despite the fact that it will be regulated pricing and will cost a few cents. That is, the cost of the carrier - it does not matter, public, private. If you build the logistics of transportation in such a way as to come here at a stop, come here - the discontent of those passengers for whom the trip becomes longer begins.”.
That is, it is possible that by extending the route, the tension will appear in passengers who will have to go “around the world”. But from two evils, choose the lesser? There's a lot to think about. In solving any issues, it is important to go together, foot to foot. As for those who have been doing for years, walking is the only way out.
Through thorns to knowledge? Lomonosov did not overcome this for the sake of science. The times are certainly not the same. Movement is better than staying still. But it is wiser when it is justified and without risk to lives.
