“Digital Lesson” about user interfaces: students are training to improve real-world scenarios
From November 9 to December 6, a new “Digital Lesson” on the topic “User Interfaces” will be held in all Russian schools

From November 9 to December 6, a new “Digital Lesson” on the topic “User interfaces” will be held in all Russian schools. It was developed by the strategic partner of the project - the company "1C".
Students will learn how interfaces are designed and why user experience directly affects product usability. In practice, the guys will try to refine the interfaces of different devices in the format of interactive game tasks. The materials of the lesson complement the course of computer science and help to form applied skills.
The key idea of the class is to show that a good interface works as an “inconspicuous bridge” between the person and the task. According to Yulia Goryachkina, Director of the Department of Training for the Digital Economy, the lesson should prepare schoolchildren for the professions of the future and for life in a world where technology serves people.
The format of the lesson is a video lecture plus an interactive simulator in the form of a detective story. Students will help detective heroes understand why the company is failing: it turns out that the reason is inconvenient interfaces. The simulator has three levels of difficulty - for primary, secondary and high school.
For teachers, methodological recommendations and scenarios were prepared for different technical equipment of classes. And on November 5, a distance learning event with the developers of materials will be held on the website of lesson.rf - so that teachers can conduct a lesson as effectively as possible.
The project “Digital Lesson” supports the federal project “Personnel for the Digital Economy” within the framework of the national project “Data Economy” and helps schoolchildren get acquainted with IT professions earlier.
