Acceptance of foodstuffs to food units of schools and kindergartens without accompanying documents and labeling is prohibited. This was reported on the air of Radio Crimea by the chief expert of the sanitary supervision department of the Interregional Department of Rospotrebnadzor for the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol Elena Lysenko

According to her, upon acceptance, a freight invoice is requested. Animal products also require veterinary certificates, quality certificates and quality certificates.

Special attention is paid to labeling. Even if there is a full package of documents, the product without marking can not be accepted by the employee of the food unit.

“The labeling necessarily indicates the date of production of the product, the expiration date and the temperature at which it should be stored,” Lysenko explained.

She also stressed the importance of respecting the commodity neighborhood rule. It involves separate storage of thermally processed and raw products.

In March 2026, it was reported that the quality of nutrition in Yalta kindergartens and schools is kept under control. During the raid of the Parental Council in kindergarten No2 "Rosinka" parents measured the temperature of dishes - everything corresponded to SanPiN. All products are tested through the system "Mercury" and "Honest sign", used goods of Crimean manufacturers.

In July 2025 in the Crimea increased control over the labeling of products with palm oil. Particular attention was paid to the quality of food supplied to social institutions - kindergartens, schools and hospitals.
