In April of this year, the well-known Tula enterprise "Kimovsky Dairy Plant" (Kimovskmolprod) once again fell into the scope of attention of specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for the city of Moscow, Moscow and Tula regions. It was about checking products for possible falsification.

From the documents posted on the site "Kontur.Focus", you can learn that the monitoring of the Sirano system, conducted by the Rosselkhoznadzor specialists, revealed several inconsistencies in the oil "Peasant" 72.5%, which was produced at LLC "KMZ". For example, the content of palmitic acid (C16:0) was 33.9% at a rate of 21.0–33.0%, and the mass fraction of methyl ester of butyric acid (C4:0) was 1.7% and 1.8% at a rate of 2.4–4.2%.

Such deviations of the fatty acid profile are considered a sign of possible falsification. The company's supervisory authority issued a warning about the inadmissibility of putting into circulation counterfeit products and violation of labeling requirements.

In the autumn of 2026, KMZ LLC was again among the violators. The Tula environmental prosecutor’s office, together with the control bodies, checked three local dairy producers, Spectr, Kimovskmolprod and Intermilk. In the products of a number of enterprises found yeast and mold fungi. The sale of dangerous products was suspended, some parties decided to destroy. Officials of three companies, including Kimovskmolproda, were brought to administrative responsibility. The total amount of fines amounted to 50 thousand rubles.

Audits of 2025

As it turned out, such cases, alas, are not isolated, there are quite a lot of them, we will cite only the most famous, otherwise we will have to list them all for a long time. In October 2025, an unscheduled inspection by the Rosselkhoznadzor, coordinated with the prosecutor's office of the Tula region, showed that vegetable fats were present in sweet and creamy unsalted 82.5% of the fat content of KMZ LLC. At the same time, the package was marked with compliance with GOST 32261-2013, which explicitly prohibits the use of non-dairy fats.

The company was then brought to administrative responsibility under part 1 of article 14.43 of the administrative code of the Russian Federation and fined 50 thousand rubles. Also, the plant was issued an order to eliminate violations, declared the declaration of conformity invalid, canceled the production veterinary document for a batch and limited access to the Mercury system to an authorized person for 10 days.

In November of the same year, a new inspection by the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for the city of Moscow, Moscow and Tula regions found that as raw materials for the production of dairy products, KMZ LLC uses written-off food products with obvious signs of spoilage (mold), without documents confirming their quality and safety. The companies issued a warning.

In addition, the Rosselkhoznadzor revealed the lack of traceability in the Mercury system (FGIS VETIS) in the production of sweet and creamy unsalted "Traditional" oil 82.5%.

In March 2025, in a sample of semi-solid cheese “Ekaterina the Great with a Champagne aroma” 50% weight, selected by specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor in the Svetofor store (Abdulino, Orenburg region), beta-sitosterol – plant sterol was found. Vegetable fats and oils (including brassicasterol, campesterin, Stigmasterin, beta-sitosterol) are not allowed in cheese. The factory has again received a warning.

2023 inspections

In September 2023, during the monitoring of the Sirano system, specialists of the Tula Department of the Rosselkhoznadzor found 82.5% sorbic acid in a sample of sweet and creamy unsalted oil. The content of this substance in butter is not allowed. The sample was selected at the Murmansk Regional Psychiatric Hospital. Following the results of the control event without interaction, the company "Kimovskmolprod" announced a warning, invalidated the declaration of conformity and canceled production certificates in the system "Mercury".

In November of the same year, the situation was repeated in a different way. During the inspection, conducted jointly with the Ministry of Internal Affairs "Kimovsky", samples of oil "Traditional" 82.5% and "Peasant" 72.5% were taken. It turned out that the plant produced products without a valid declaration of conformity. Again, a warning followed.

As we can see, such violations in the activities of KMZ LLC over the past three years, supervisory authorities have identified quite a lot, not even listing everything, however, beyond the warnings on duty, the matter for some reason did not go.

From open sources, it is known that KMZ LLC has existed since 2012. The main activity is the production of dairy products, the production of products of the flour milling and cereal industry, starch and starch-containing products, the production of vegetable and animal oils and fats.
