In the Smolensk school of the Olympic reserve held a master class “Bread – all the head”

The participants got acquainted with the traditions of national pastries: they watched a thematic video, studied the book exhibition and the publication “Bread is the head of everything: the cultural code of unity”. The guests also presented bakery products of different peoples, told about family recipes and conducted a tasting.

The event was organized by the “Zemlyaky” movement within the framework of the project “We are a multinational people of Russia” with the support of the regional Ministry of Internal Policy and the Presidential Grants Fund.

The meeting helped participants learn more about the culinary traditions of different peoples and their common symbol – bread, which in many cultures represents life, work, prosperity and hospitality.
