In the capital of Buryatia, the Prosecutor’s office of the Oktyabrsky district revealed a violation of the legislation on combating corruption in the employment of a former civil servant.
The inspection showed that the commercial organization employed a citizen who previously held the position of bailiff. According to the law, the employer had to notify his former place of employment within 10 days of the conclusion of the employment contract, but the deadline was violated.
By the decision of the prosecutor's office, the responsible official was brought to administrative responsibility. He was fined 20 thousand rubles.
According to federal law, employers are obliged to notify about the hiring of former state and municipal employees if less than two years have passed after their dismissal from service. This requirement is enshrined in article 12 of the Federal law “On combating corruption” and article 64.1 of the Labor code of the Russian Federation.
