In Veliky Novgorod, a single call center began to work for recording adult patients to doctors. It is based in the Central City Clinical Hospital (CGKB), which includes all adult clinics of the city, serving more than 190 thousand people.
The service was created on behalf of the Governor of the Novgorod region Alexander Dronov. Its main goal is to reduce the load on the regional health line 122 during peak hours and reduce the waiting time for a response.
Call center operators take calls on weekdays from 8:00 to 17:00: help to register with a specialist, answer questions about the schedule of doctors. In addition, employees themselves contact patients - remind about the assigned research and consultations of narrow specialists, invite for medical examination and vaccination.
As Alesya Vinogradova, the head of the CSCB process management group, noted, the main task of the call center administrator is to understand the patient and help him.
Earlier this year, a similar call center was opened at the Children’s Regional Hospital for families with children. The Ministry of Health of the region continues to work to increase the availability of primary admission and medical research.
Dronov said that the Novgorod authorities are actively working on resolving the personnel issue to cope with the growing flow of patients for medical examinations and provide quality care to Novgorod residents.
This year, 22 residents who have completed their studies under target contracts at the Novgorod University and 60 residents of the second year of study should start working. In the direction of training “specialty” under target contracts, 54 doctors are planned to graduate. These are our Novgorod young people who believed in the prospects of the profession, received an education and will continue to work in their small homeland, the governor said in a message to the Novgorod Regional Duma.
Governor Alexander Dronov earlier called unacceptable the situation with the slow work of a single call center. The head of the region decided to personally check the work of the service after the complaint of Borovichans. After the head of the region was convinced of the correctness of Novgorod residents, he gave an order to increase the number of operators on Mondays and Tuesdays - the busiest days.
