Volgograd residents will explain the reasons for the refusal of social payments

An important addition to the President’s order to create a system of informing citizens about the reasons for refusing to appoint federal benefits is the clarification that information should be provided promptly, simultaneously with the adoption by the authorized body of the decision to refuse.
The order must be executed no later than December 15 of the current year. To ensure its implementation should the government of the Russian Federation together with the “popular front”.
In addition, the President instructed responsible agencies to use the system of interdepartmental electronic interaction to obtain all the information necessary for the appointment of federal social support measures. This means that government agencies now have to request certificates from each other, rather than require them from citizens. And the information necessary for the provision of public services, which is at the disposal of departments, will be uploaded in advance electronically to the Public Services.
Along with federal measures, there are a number of regional support measures and social services in the Volgograd region. Their recipients are about 500 thousand inhabitants of the region. These are members of the SVO and their families, home front workers, victims of political repression, labor veterans, labor veterans of the Volgograd region, holders of the status of “Residents of besieged Stalingrad”, rural specialists, poor citizens, families with children.
Since the beginning of 2026, Volgograd residents have sent about 29,000 applications in electronic form to receive support measures for social protection of the population. Today, more than 40 regional payments can be made through the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services without visiting social protection institutions. The electronic format allows you to reduce the time of filing an application and receive information about the course of its consideration in your personal account. The system of measures is being improved taking into account the proposals of residents.
