Volgograd residents were advised to restore the psyche with the help of laziness

In the conversation “Tape.ru” specialist recommended Russians from time to time to indulge in laziness. Despite popular belief about the shame of idleness, short breaks in activity can bring significant benefits. As the expert explained, the brain is not able to function at its peak throughout the day.

The transition from continuous problem solving and control to a more relaxed state allows the psyche to process the information accumulated during the day, restore concentration and reduce stress levels. Irina Krashkina emphasized that such pauses not only contribute to rest, but can also suggest a solution to a problem that did not occur during intensive mental work.

At the same time, the specialist emphasized the difference between conscious rest and procrastination. After real relaxation, a person usually feels a surge of strength and lightness. Procrastination, on the other hand, is characterized by postponing important tasks when they are recognized as necessary, which is often accompanied by anxiety and guilt, rather than pleasure.
