The main rule is not to panic. Once you realize that the product does not match the card, take screenshots of the store page, save checks and correspondence. Take a picture of the thing, clearly showing all the differences.
Next, send the seller an official request for a refund, replacement of the goods or a commensurate reduction in price. The law considers non-compliance with the description a disadvantage. This means that the seller is obliged not only to return the money within 10 days, but also to pay the cost of returning the substandard goods.
If the store ignores the claims, the direct path of the consumer lies in Rospotrebnadzor or the court.
The expert also recalled the basic rule of distance trading: any quality product, except made individually for the buyer, can be returned within 7 days after receipt, if it was not in use and kept all the labels.
As noted in RIA Novosti, sellers have the right to use AI for pictures, but the label “created by a neural network” does not give them indulgence to cheat. If the description and picture are misleading, the law protects the buyer and his money.
