“Wings of the Soviets” inflicted “Rubin” third consecutive defeat in the RPL
Samara club won with the score 2: 0 thanks to autogoal and penalty
Footballers of Kazan “Rubin” lost to Samara “Wings of the Soviets” with a score of 0: 2 in the home match of the 12th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL).
In the 71st minute, the Samaras came forward after Igor Vujacic's auto goal, on the 77th from the penalty appointed after the VAR check, Amar Rakhmanovich, the team's top scorer of the season (four goals), scored.
“Wings of the Soviets”, who won for the first time in four rounds, scored 15 points and are located in seventh place in the standings of the RPL. Rubin, who lost the third match in a row in the RPL (only a losing streak lasts six matches), is tenth with 12 points.
In the next round, the teams will play at home: Rubin will host Voronezh Torch on October 31, Wings of the Soviets will hold a meeting with St. Petersburg Zenit on November 2.
