In Shanghai, Medvedev beat Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas with a score of 6:4, 7:5 and reached the quarterfinals of the tournament.

“I love Shanghai as a city. It's one of my favorite stops on tour, so I try to stay here as long as possible. I play great. Today was a different style of play than on the center court. But I served well, I did not have break points, so I am very pleased, Medvedev said.
