The second racket of the world Belarusian Arina Sobolenko in his first match at the tournament category WTA-1000 in Wuhan (China) lost to American Anne Lee.
Sobolenko as the first number of sowing started from the second round.
Lee, 31st in the world ranking, won with the score 3:6, 6:4. 7:6 (7:5). During the third set, Lee had 10 match points.
In the previous “thousanders” in Beijing, Sobolenko won only one match. She has three losses in her last four WTA games (starting with the US Open final).
Lee will play in the 1/8 finals with Indonesian Janis Thien (47th).
