Moscow “Spartak” snatched victory from “Rodina” in the match of the fourth round of the group stage of the Fonbet Cup of Russia.
The meeting at the arena in Khimki ended with the score 4: 2.
As part of the winners, goals were scored by Marchinhos (25th minute) and Manfred Ugalde (90+8), a double scored by Mirlind Daku (48, 64). The “Motherland” scored Magomedhabib Abdusalamov (40) and German Onugha (41).
Spartacus led Group A with 10 points. In the second position with seven points is Orenburg. The third place is occupied by Kazan Rubin (4 points), and the Rodina quartet (3) closes.
In the fifth round, Spartak will play at home against Rubin, and Homeland against Orenburg. Both meetings will be held on October 28.
