Dubois knocks out Wardley for second time in five months and defends WBO title
Daniel Dubois defeated Fabio Wardley by knockout in the second round

British boxer Daniel Dubois defended the title of world heavyweight champion according to the World Boxing Organization (WBO), knocking out compatriot Fabio Wardley in the second round. The fight took place in London.
Dubois began the fight actively and already in the first half of the opening round sent Wardley to the knockdown. At the end of the first round, Dubois pressed his opponent to the ropes and struck a series of blows, after which Wardley coach Ben Davison was ready to throw out the towel, but the gong sounded.
In the second round, Dubois also clearly dominated, and Davison still threw out the towel, admitting the defeat of his boxer, notes ESPN.
Dubois in May already defeated Wardley by knockout in the 11th round, taking away his belt.
Dubois now has 24 wins and three defeats (two from Alexander Usyk and one from Joseph Joyce).
