Navka reacted to the departure of Valieva from her academy
Valieva in 2025 decided to train with Sokolovskaya, but on Monday it became known that she returned to the group Tutberidze. Navka urged not to condemn the skater and suggested that she needed the old “aura and atmosphere”

Tatiana Navka told TASS that Kamila Valieva could return to coach Eteri Tutberidze, because she needs "that aura and that atmosphere, and that education system.".
After completing the disqualification for doping, Valieva resumed her career not at Tutberidze, but at Svetlana Sokolovskaya at the Navka school. On Monday, it became known that the 20-year-old skater returned to the former coach.
Navka said she learned about the decision after Valieva accepted it.
I believe that the life of an athlete is very short, and in any case it is impossible to condemn, because the coach will have many, many different athletes, and the life of an athlete is his life. Therefore, if Kamila made such a decision, then she is sure of it, Navka said.
According to her, Sokolovskaya invested in Valiev “huge love, strength”. "Of course, it is a pity that this happened," Navka added.
Valieva missed the first stage of the Russian Grand Prix in Kazan (October 17-18) due to illness. She was granted neutral status in the summer to compete in international tournaments, but was recalled in September.
