The home of the captain of English “Manchester United” (Man United) Bruna Fernandes in Cheshire was penetrated by thieves when the Portuguese footballer was with the team in Italy for the Champions League match with “Como”, reports the Manchester Evening News.
Manchester United on October 21 defeated “Como” with the score 1: 4. Fernandesh after the match was in the center of a scandal because of public criticism of the tactics chosen for the game by head coach Michael Carrick.
Shortly after the final whistle, three masked men were spotted outside Fernandes' home. One of the neighbours called the police.
The perpetrators stayed in the house for less than five minutes and managed to escape before the police arrived, stealing several things.
None of the Fernandes family members were in the house.
Earlier in October, during a Champions League match, the home of Betis forward Anthony was robbed, and armed robbers broke into the house of Villarreal goalkeeper Peter Gulachy a few hours before the game when the footballer was there with his wife and children.
