The third in a month, the RPL club fired the Spanish coach
Frank Artigou fired from the post of head coach of “Rubin”

Spaniard Frank Artiga left the post of head coach of Rubin. This was reported by the press service of the Kazan club.
This decision was made by the President of the Board of Rubin Marat Safiullin. "Rubin Football Club thanks the Spanish specialist for his work and dedication, and wishes him good luck in his future career," the statement said.
Artiga was appointed head coach of the Kazan team in January 2026. Under the leadership of the Spaniard, Rubin played 28 matches, in which he scored nine victories, drew 11 times and lost eight games.
“Rubin” on Saturday lost the third match in a row in the RPL (only a losing streak lasts six matches) – “Wings of the Soviets” (0: 2).
This is the third Spanish coach since September who left the RPL club. On September 21, the Moscow “Rodina” fired Juan Diaz, on September 24 – “Rostov” Jonathan Alba.
