Russian fighter appreciated the first defeat in his career in the fight for the UFC title
Movsar Evloev called Alexander Volkanovski a great champion after his defeat in the UFC title fight. “I’d rather lose to this guy than someone else,” he said

Russian fighter Movsar Evloev praised Australian Alexander Volkanovski after losing in the UFC championship bout.
Evloev lost to Volkanovski by technical knockout in the second round in the main fight of the UFC 333 tournament in Abu Dhabi and failed to take away the featherweight title from him.
“Volkanowski, like a good wine, the older the better. He's good. Thank you for the opportunity to be here. I didn't prove today I was the best. I have to go home and rest. Alex is a great champion. I would rather lose to such a guy than to someone else, Evloev said after the fight.
32-year-old Evloev suffered his first career defeat with 20 victories. The 38-year-old Volkanowski has 29 wins and four MMA losses.
