This Wednesday, October 21, in Perm, the Mikhailova Junior Academy held the first match against the local Hammer in the regular championship of the Youth Hockey League. The Tula team lost with a score of 0: 2, but managed to turn the tide of the meeting and won with a score of 6: 4, told MK in Tula in the press service of the hockey club.
Here it should be said that in the composition of “Mikhaylov” debuted defender Dmitry Vorobyov 2010 year of birth. From the first minutes, the team gate was defended by Nikolai Scriabin, and Ivan Filatov, who joined the team from the Mikhailov Academy, remained in reserve.
In the first period, Tulaks attacked more often and created moments at the opponent’s goal. Denis Kubankov, Maxim Sapogov, Aaron Olikh and the defenders regularly threatened the gates of the Permians, but the hosts restrained the onslaught. In turn, Scriabin helped out the team several times. Ivan Kazharin could open the account, but did not hit the puck at the far bar. Even remaining in the minority, the "red-blue" did not allow the opponent to develop an attack and themselves organized a dangerous counterattack. The first period ended without goals.
In the second twenty minutes, Kazharin hit the barbell, and then the Tulaks again remained in the minority. Hammer took advantage of the numerical advantage and opened the score, and soon increased the gap to two washers. However, the Mikhailov-Junior Academy quickly got back into the game: Aaron Olich intercepted an assist in his zone, ran one-on-one with the goalkeeper and cut the gap. Under the curtain of the period, Andrei Ryzhkov brought Kazharin to a comfortable position, and the attacker sent the puck into the goal in a touch. After 40 minutes, it was 2-2.
At the beginning of the third period, Rostislav Agapov led the Tula team forward, successfully playing at the gate. The Hammer coaching staff requested a video view, but the judges counted the puck shoved into the goal. Soon, the Mikhailovites realized the majority: after the transfers of Olikh and Sergey Andreev, Zakhar Zubarev distinguished himself. After another five minutes, Olich intercepted the puck in the middle zone, again went one-on-one with the goalkeeper and made the score 5-2.
The hosts replaced the goalkeeper and tried to save the meeting. In the 49th minute, the Permians played one puck, and a minute later reduced the gap to a minimum - 4: 5. Three minutes before the end, Hammer took a timeout and released a sixth fielder instead of a goalkeeper. However, the owners could not even out the account. Andrei Ryzhkov and Damir Gilmanov organized a counterattack, which was completed by Vladislav Likhachev, who sent the puck into an empty goal. The result is a strong-willed victory of the Mikhailov-Junior Academy with a score of 6:4.
The second meeting of the teams in Perm will be held on October 22 at 17:00.
