Belarus Sharamkov reached the final of the world championship in freestyle exercises

Egor Sharamkov will compete for the medals of the World Championship in gymnastics in Rotterdam. The Belarusian athlete reached the final in freestyle exercises, writes sb.by.

To win the coveted ticket, Belarusians needed to get into the top 8 according to the results of qualification. Egor successfully coped with this task. As part of the selection, he scored 14,100 points - the sixth result among 142 participants. Thus, in the final of the World Championship in gymnastics Belarus will be represented for the first time in 12 years.

The strongest in this form will be determined on Saturday, October 24. It is important to note that this season Sharamkov became the winner of the World Cup overall standings in freestyle exercises.

At the same time, in Rotterdam, the Belarusian also performed in the reference jump. In the qualification of this discipline Sharamkov took the ninth place and is now the first reserve.

Today, October 19, the women’s national team of Belarus will begin the fight at the tournament. Anastasia Smanzer will compete in freestyle exercises and on a log, Vera Sadyrbayeva - in the reference jump and on bars.
