Belarusian athletes defeated the team of Guinea at the world championship-U16 handball

The Belarusian handball team won the second victory at the World Championship among girls under the age of 16 in Agadir, Morocco. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of sports, writes sb.by.

In the final match of group B, the Belarusians met with the national team of Guinea. The first half ended in a draw (18:18), but in the second half our team won a confident victory - 41:33. The most productive player of the meeting was Anastasia Mironova, who scored 12 goals.

Earlier in the tournament, the Belarusian team beat Paraguay (38:35) and lost to Hungary (20:34). The final position of our team in the quartet will be determined after the match between Hungary and Paraguay. Only the winner of the group will receive a trip to the semifinals.

Playoff matches, as well as fights for 5-16 places will be held on October 22.
