Belarusian athletes will perform at the world championship in coastal rowing sprint

In the Chinese Qingdao on October 18-21, the world championship in coastal rowing sprint will be held. During competitions in this discipline, participants first run along the beach from the start to the boat, pass a short distance on it, and then, getting out of the boat, run back to the finish line.

Our country will be represented at the tournament by five athletes. In the competition of men’s singles will perform Eugene Litkovsky. For awards among athletes under the age of 19, Alexei Ivashkovets and Victoria Goloskok will compete in singles, Eva Oparkina and Yaroslav Petrashkevich will compete in the mix.

Coastal rowing sprint is included in the program of the Olympic Games in Los Angeles - at the main start of the four years, awards in this form will be played for the first time. It is planned that the qualifying competitions, which will be awarded Olympic licenses, will be held next year.
