From October 11 to 15, the Regional Boxing Cup was held in Orel. 232 athletes from 27 regions of Russia and Belarus competed for the awards. Yelets at the competition was represented by three pupils of sports school No. 1.
The main success of the team is Yulia Trubitsina. Under the guidance of coach A.S. Cherepnikov, she won gold in the weight category up to 66 kilograms among participants born in 2010-2011. In the final, the Yelchanka met with the winner of the championship of Russia Polina Ionova and won. So Julia repeated her 2025 result and again rose to the top of the podium.
The bronze medal in the category up to 64 kilograms among athletes born in 2012-2013 was received by Daria Belyakova. Despite the shoulder injury, the boxer had a decent fight. Her coach is V. I. Izmalkov.
