European Football demands clear explanation of Infantino's FIFA presidency
UEFA has sent a letter to the International Football Federation demanding answers on Gianni Infantino’s presidency, including questions about the FIFA Forward Enterprise project and the FIFA Peace Prize, by 2 November

The European Football Association has spearheaded calls for Gianni Infantino to resign as FIFA president since he proposed the now-cancelled FFE project, which involved setting up a company to manage the organisation's commercial interests of competitions, including the World Cup, and selling a minority stake to private investors.
The 56-year-old, who faces elections for a new term next year, apologised to the FIFA Council last week and urged members to send any questions about his management in writing so he can answer them at the next meeting on 16 December.
However, on Monday, Sky Sports and other British media reported that UEFA Secretary General Theodor Theodoridis had sent a letter to his FIFA counterpart Mathias Grafström asking for prompt answers to 42 questions covering 12 topics.
"These questions need to be answered right now," Theodoridis wrote. They cannot be postponed until the next meeting of the FIFA Council, nor can future governance reforms replace a thorough review and accountability of decisions already taken.
UEFA and FIFA have so far responded to a request from international news agencies for the actual writing of such a letter. Infantino will run for the next term as head of World Football in March 2027. The deadline for submission of applications by potential candidates for nomination is November 18. While only the former player of the national team of Switzerland and English “Tottenham Hotspur” Ramon Vega announced his intention to run for this position
