Figure skater Trusova spoke about his trip to the Grand Prix

Alexandra Trusova is looking forward to a trip to the United States, where she will perform at the fourth stage of the international Grand Prix series in figure skating. The Russian athlete shared emotions after receiving an invitation to the tournament.

"Have you heard the news yet? How many cool memories I have associated with the United States, how now to wait for a trip? – wrote the figure skater in social networks.

Skate America will run from November 13-15, 2026. Earlier it became known that invitations to the stages of the Grand Prix received Trusova and Russian figure skater Evgeny Semenenko. Both athletes were on the reserve lists, and the opportunity to perform appeared after the refusals of other participants.

Trusova received a ticket to the American stage after a successful performance at the Challenger series tournament Denis Ten Memorial in Almaty. On October 10, she won the competition, scoring 226.01 points according to the results of two programs.

Earlier, the figure skater was also offered to perform at the Grand Prix stage in China. The tournament in Shenzhen is scheduled for November 6-8, so in November Trusov is waiting for two international starts with a short break.
