The head coach of Traktor noted a strong passion for the game at Zharkov

Scott Gordon commented on the team's victory in the last home match with Ak Bars and answered questions about the composition, the club's press service reports.

“The boys have been working hard throughout the game. We trained well all week before this match. I would like to mention Shang's link - it was their goal that allowed us to take the victory. Overall, as a team, everyone played great, the head coach of the Black and Whites said.

Gordon explained the absence of Artemy Nizameev and Yaroslav Fedoseyev: Nizameev was sick, his return is expected at the game on Monday, and Fedoseyev was sent to Chelmet. The coach stressed that the second trip is not related to the acquisition of new defenders: “It has nothing to do with the likely signings.” Telegin is back with us.”.

Separately, the mentor appreciated the debut of Andrei Matyushin. According to him, the hockey player played with energy and fit well into the team: It was not easy for him in the first period, because he did not come out in our special teams and missed several shifts. But in general, he looked confident, went on the ice after a timeout. I think Andrew played very well

Speaking about Vladimir Zharkov, Gordon noted his passion for the game, which is contagious. Gordon said that the hockey player stays after training and works on the ice elements, and at each shift puts all his strength:

“Even today in the first period he created moments for his partners. Zharkov is a good person and a great player who complements our team perfectly. I will never be able to fully tell you how much he works with young players and explains different nuances to them.

Nathan Legare promised to wear a happy hat for the next match
