Gordon said that “Tractor” with “Petrochemist” played not in an adult way

The head coach of the Chelyabinsk “Tractor” Scott Gordon commented on the match with Nizhny Kamsk “Neftekhimik”, in which his team lost in overtime with the score 2: 3.

According to Gordon, although this game was interesting for fans because of its speed and double-edged moments, as a coach, he has many questions about its quality. “We made mistakes that are unacceptable in adult hockey,” Gordon said, noting that the team’s efforts in the attack zone impressed him.

The mistakes Gordon mentions sometimes led to the capture of the Chelyabinsk gates. For example, Nizhnekamsk managed to open an account when they intercepted the puck from the “tractorists”, who unsuccessfully removed it from their zone. Also among the antiheroes of this match was the goalkeeper of “Tractor” Henrik Höukeland, who in the first period twice received a small penalty for moving the goal.

“The opponent played speed hockey, something that slowed us down,” says Gordon.
