Gusev can become the head coach of Voronezh Torch
Gusev himself said that he has not yet reached a final agreement with anyone

Voronezh Torch has not yet issued the appointment of Rolan Gusev as head coach. Earlier, journalist Ivan Karpov reported that the 49-year-old specialist, ex-coach of Dynamo Moscow, reached an agreement with the club after the departure of Oleg Vasilenko. According to Karpov, Gusev even rejected the offer of the Belarusian “Vitebsk” for the sake of moving to the Voronezh team. His potential staff was to include Roman Sharonov, Alexei Rebko, as well as an analyst and a physical training coach.
However, after the dismissal of Vasilenko, Torch under the leadership of Alexei Rebko won two victories in a row - in the Cup over Krasnodar (2: 0) and in the RPL over the Wings of the Soviets (2: 1). This result changed the plans of the management: now the club trusts Rebko, and the agreement with Gusev remains in limbo.
Gusev himself later said that he had not yet reached a final agreement with anyone, and the sports director of Torch Ruslan Pimenov called the discussion of the new coach with the current results of Rebko “unethical”. According to him, Rebko continues to prepare the team for the next match.
In the 12th round of the RPL on October 24, "Torch" in its field will take the Moscow "Homeland". The outcome of this meeting can be decisive for the final decision on the coaching issue.
