Kuban athletes won the gold of the championship of Russia in Kyokushin

The team of the Krasnodar Territory became the winner of the Russian Kyokushin Championship. The competitions were held in Krasnodar and gathered more than 500 athletes from different regions of the country, the press service of the Ministry of Sport of Kuban noted.

According to coach Vasily Samadurov, the competition at the tournament was high: the participants represented the strongest teams in their regions. “Despite such difficult conditions of the struggle, the Kubans were not lost and were able to hold the leadership,” he added.

Samadurov noted that Kyokushin teaches discipline and overcoming difficulties. According to him, these qualities will be useful to athletes outside of training – in everyday life.
