Lokomotiv-Kuban in Krasnodar beat Avtodor by 20 points

In the capital of Kuban, Krasnodar basketball players defeated the Saratov “Avtodor”. The match took place at Basket Hall in the evening. The hosts were stronger than the guests by 22 points.

The way we started the match makes me a little less happy with the result. In the future, we could also decide the outcome of the game much earlier, if in some episodes we played better defensively and made more balanced decisions in attack. Such things we have to do more reliably in the next matches, said the head coach of locomotive-Kuban Tomislav Tomovich.

The first ten minutes of the hosts completed with a score of 30:21. In the second quarter, the red-greens increased the advantage to 48:33.

After a long break, Lokomotiv-Kuban led by 15 points - 69:51. The hosts finished the match with a difference of 96:74.

For Krasnodar, this victory was the third in four matches held. Previously, the “railway” has already beaten “Yenisei” and the IBA. Lokomotiv-Kuban has lost so far only CSKA.

Tomislav Tomovic said the team rested on Thursday. And on Saturday and Sunday, the Krasnodars are preparing for the game with Zenit. The team from St. Petersburg will visit the southerners on October 18.

Earlier we wrote that Tomislav Tomovich shared his expectations before the match with the team from Saratov.
