Minsk will play the first home match in the new season of the Russian Super League

On Saturday, October 24, volleyball Minskanka will hold the first home game in the new season of the Super League of the Russian Open. Wards of Alexander Perepelkin in the fourth round will take Krasnoyarsk “Yenisei”. The day before the meeting, a press conference of the team was held at the Uruchie Sports Palace, writes sb.by.

Head coach Alexander Perepelkin estimated the readiness of the team at the moment at about 60%. Pre-season training took place in Minsk and Myadel, and further progress in the season will depend on character, team spirit and playfulness. At the same time, the mentor positively assessed the prospects of young players, in particular Ksenia Glinskaya, the close relationship between the first and second teams and the work of the head coach of Minskanka-2 Olga Palchevskaya.

Minsk hosts many matches of different tournaments in team sports, and at the same time every year more and more spectators come to the games of Minskanka. The work of the management of the Minsk VC school is well noticed, the network of sports bases in general education schools is also expanding. Duplicate team “Minchanka-2” last season became the winner of the Youth League of Russia, this creates competition for the main team. It is very important when there is a reserve and regular replenishment of teams. This is a great merit of professionals who work with children.

"Minchanka" seriously updated in the off-season. The club left pre-gamers Tatiana Trofimova, Yana Faley, Evgeny Tinnikova and Tatiana Markevich, diagonal Valery Turchin and Dadmar Navarro, as well as blocking and binders - Daria Burak, Yana Cherednikova and Sophia Sycheva. At the same time, the club thoroughly conducted a transfer campaign. This season, “Minchanka” was joined by Zarina Vositova and Vera Tserkovna from “Omichka”, Ksenia Glinskaya from “Minchanka-2”, Renata Agarkova from “Muroma”, Daria Savchuk from “Communalnik-Mogilev”, Kristina Kazetskaya from the Turkish “Eregli” and Margarita Vygolovskaya from Krasnodar “Dynamo”.

In addition, one of the key athletes, Nadezhda Vladyko, who spent 14 seasons in Minskanka, returned from maternity leave:

- I missed the game. I think that the decree with the support of the family is a good decree. I'm on maternity leave and with the girls on the team. I was able to come back thanks to my family: my father, my mother-in-law and my husband. Thanks to them, I could continue to train and do what I did before. But they have added to their worries and troubles.

In the ranks of Nadezhda Smirnov, who successfully recovered from injury. "Minchanka" is led by captain and libero Alena Fedorinchik, who told at a press conference about the new tradition in the team to choose the best player after a successful result:

- After each winning match, we choose the best player by voting. What does that mean for us inside? This is, of course, support, stimulus, cohesion, emotional lifting. We also have a trophy in the Belarusian style. We bought a Belarusian towel and a straw hoop very beautiful with cornflowers. And after each victory, the best player of the previous match rewards the next one.

The new season in the Russian Super League “Minchanka” began with a victory, defeating “Omichka” with a score of 3: 2. But then she suffered two defeats in a row. The Belarusian team in three sets lost to Dynamo Moscow and Proton. Now, with the support of the fans, she intends to strive not to let the unsuccessful series drag on.

At the same time, the club introduced paid tickets for home matches, which is important for fans to keep in mind. This fact was commented by the Chairman of VK “Minsk” Oksana Shevchenko:

- We decided to introduce a ticket system. We very much hope that we did not disappoint our fan because I am sure that if you love and want to support your team, then a ticket that costs like a cup of coffee in Minsk will not scare you. So I invite everyone to come to home games. We will be happy to make a holiday for our fans. And the team, I am sure, will not disappoint us, will show a beautiful volleyball, which is worthy of a commercial project.
