The Russian Ministry of Sport invites you to talk about the sports traditions of your family

The Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation, together with the media group Komsomolskaya Pravda, initiated the all-Russian online competition “The Most Sports Family of Russia”, the acceptance of applications for which will last until October 18, 2026.

The event brought together seven areas, including six sports disciplines and one creative category.

For young couples who married no more than three years ago and who have no children yet, the nomination “Young family in sports” is provided. Here, the jury will evaluate how joint jogging, training or cycling strengthens the union and becomes part of everyday life. This is reported by the website kp.ru.

Spouses with children can compete for the title in the category “Dad, Mom, I am a sports family!”, demonstrating how the movement unites parents and children through skiing or family competitions.

Large dynasties, where grandparents, parents and children are involved in activities, are invited to the category “Family team”.

The organizers paid special attention to social support. Families with people with disabilities can declare themselves in the nomination “Sport without borders”.

A separate category "Family - the support of the country" is created for those where one of the parents is a participant or veteran of hostilities, including a special military operation, and at the same time has sports merit.

For lovers of active tourism and trips to nature, the nomination “Family Route” is provided.

The creative category “I imagine sports!” is designed to complete the line, allowing you to express your love for family sports through drawings, poems, songs or dances.

To participate, applicants should briefly describe their traditions and achievements, as well as attach links to relevant photos, videos or creative works. The expert commission will carefully study each questionnaire, assessing the originality, involvement of all households, the quality of content and strict compliance with the rules of the selected category.
