The youth of the Yamal VK “Fakel” lost to Novosibirsk “railway” 0:3

On the second day of the Novosibirsk Youth League tour, October 20, Torch Yamal from Novy Urengoy played with Lokomotiv SHORE - the hosts of the site and the current league champions. The meeting brought victory to the “railway workers”, reported in the volleyball club “Torch Yamal”.

The beginning of the meeting turned out to be tense: on the pitches of Yamal Grigory Kapranov broke ahead, but soon the Novosibirsk people leveled the situation. By the end of the game, the hosts noticeably added and went into the gap with a score of 19:16. Yamal tried to recoup, but the mistake of Elisey Shevchenko in the attack put an end to the set.

In the second set, Lokomotiv SHORE from the first draws took the initiative in their hands - 10:4. The decisive advantage secured the block against Novokhatsky, who brought the advantage of Novosibirsk to 13:5. Despite the efforts of Fyodor Mishakin’s wards, it was not possible to reverse the course of the party.

The third set was the hardest for the Torch. Already at the score of 1: 5 Fyodor Mishakin was forced to take a time-out, but it failed to change the balance. The final score is 0:3 (23:25, 15:25, 9:25). The club noted that the Yamal team still lacked a binder Timofey Shevchenko and diagonal Alexei Gorbunov.

The next game day in Novosibirsk is scheduled for October 22, Torch Yamal will again meet with Kemerovo Kuzbass-2.

In early October, Torch Yamal won three consecutive victories at the first stage of the Youth League. The team played home matches at the Yamal Arena in Salekhard.
